The portraits, which showcase technicians who work across the country for organisations such as the NHS, WhiteLight, Microsoft and the Royal Opera House, highlight the crucial role technicians play across society.

Technicians build the aircraft engines that fly people around the globe, undertake lab research into cures for cancer, and design the lighting for the world’s biggest entertainment events, and by training as a technician students could go on to work for some of the UK’s most exciting and innovative employers.
